Meet Sandra Smith - Salt Spring Home Finder

When I moved to Salt Spring Island in 1997, I realized I had come to magical place. With its natural beauty and encompassing sense of community, Salt Spring seemed the perfect spot to raise my two sons, Tanner and Chase.

Today I feel the same way: some of my happiest times are spent with my family, hiking this beautiful island, exploring all its beaches and scenic view points, and participating in the many community events offered. If there is a family activity happening, we’re likely to be there, whether we’re performing with the Salt Spring Fiddleworks, enjoying the parade at Sea Capers, or working a fundraising booth at the fall fair.

At my side, you’ll see my partner Derrick Lundy, an islander for over 30 years. Derrick is the photographer behind the colourful pictures displayed on this web site. Having photographed more than 180,000 images of island life over the past 20 years, Derrick is a well-known figure on Salt Spring.

Real Estate Acheivements

In Sandra's second fill year of real estate she acheived the Royal LePage Master Sales Award in 2007.  In 2008 she acheived the Royal LePage Platinum Award as well as MLS Silver Award.  Let Sandra put her award winning experience to work for you.

Community Initiatives

Sandra is an ongoing supporter of the Salt Spring Island Land Conservancy, Salt Spring Foodbank, Youth Sports, and Theatrical Events.  If you are a client and a particular organization has significance, to you talk to Sandra! 

Community Involvement

Much of her recent community involvement has been as an advocate for children. She has served on the executive of the Salt Spring Island Co-op Preschool for four years, filling positions such as vice president and fundraising chair, and organizing various community events.
